How Addition Works
A beginning addition lesson using sets for kids and parents to work through
together (page 2 of 3)

Here's another one:

Set A	Set B

Count how many circles are in Set A... There are 4!	Count how many circles are in Set B... There are 5!

Now, put the sets together into one big set:

Set A and Set B get put together to make a set of 9 circles

Count how many circles are in this set...
There are 9!

So, 4+5=9
